Indian Food Fest @ Café 8 of Crimson Hotel


Chicken Biryani a popular Indian bastami rice preparation, with boneless chicken breast, herbs and spices of garam masala,  garlic, minced jalapeno peppers, chopped onions, chopped fresh cilantro, toasted cashew nuts, chopped plum tomato, golden raisins, minced fresh ginger and lime wedges.



From November 5 to 15, relish the rich flavor of India in a sumptuous buffet spread of lunch and dinner at the all-day dining Café Eight of Crimson Hotel Filinvest City, Manila. Launched last November 5, with the traditional Diwali lighting ceremony lead by Crimson Hotel Filinvest City, Manila’s general manager, Mr. Saurabh Kukreja together with the Ambassador of India to the Philippines, Ambassador Ralte, attended by the hotel’s top corporate accounts, personalities, and media plus graced with an energetic Bollywood performance by Ms. Lala Dinglasan dance group and an enthralling Indian music renditions by Mr. CJ Wasu.


Indian Beef Kabab a famous dish of ground beef with herbs and spices of finely chopped onions, chopped mint leaves, ginger paste, chopped fresh cilantro, ground cumin, green chili paste, ground coriander, paprika and cayenne pepper then grilled to perfection.

Traditional Indian Set Dishes characterized by its sophisticated and subtle use of herbs, spices and fruits grown across India, includes a wide variety of dishes and cooking techniques from the ethnically diverse subcontinents of India, its unique cuisine evolved from the influences of Persia, ancient Greece, Mongols and South East Asia.

The Indian Food Fest @ Cafe Eight features 70 plus Indian heritage dishes originating from regions of Delhi - once the capital of the Mughal Empire and the birthplace of Mughlai cuisine with well-known dishes like kabab, chaat and more; Goa - with a cuisine influenced by its Hindu origins, four hundred years of Portuguese colonialism, famed for seafood dishes of Tuna, Mackerel and shellfishes; Jammu and Kashmir - with influencers from cuisines of Central Asia, Persia and the north Indian plains, Kashmiri cuisines' most notable ingredient is mutton which have 30 varieties; Kerala - with significant influencers of Arabs and Middle Eastern cuisines, Kerala cuisine is known for serving full meal with plenty of accompaniments; Maharashtra - divided into two major sections of coastal and interior, includes a range of dishes from mild to very spicy tastes with ingredients like Bajri, wheat, rice, jowar, vegetables, lentils, and fruit;  Punjab - known for its diverse range of dishes like the tandoori foods, naan, pakoras, masala with ingredients rich in ghee, butter and cream. Inspired by these historical Indian regions, to delight diners with remarkable gourmet experience, the guest Indian Chef Arvind Sigh designed 4 cycles of recipes to cover 10 days of Indian Food Fest bliss -  from soup, appetizers, condiments, main courses and desserts, featuring mouthwatering Indian fares like Seafood Rassa - curried coconut seafood soup; Dal Ka Shorba - a flavorful soup of turmeric, yellow lentin, asafoetida, tamarind paste, mustard seeds, onions, garlic and curry powder; Hara Bhara Kabab - popular vegetable kabab made of spinach, peas and potatoes; Paneer Tikka - spiced marinated grilled cottage cheese cubes with bell peppers and onions; Chicken Tikka Masala - boneless chicken cubes, marinated in yogurt, ground cumin, lemon juice, cinnamon and pepper with sauce made of jalapeno chili, ground cumin, paprika, tomato sauce, whipping cream, garam masala and garlic cloves; Seafood Biryani - a tasty seafood rice preparation strongly spiced with saffron, turmeric, cinnamon, cardamoms, peppercorns, star anise, green chili paste, ginger paste and fresh coriander leaves; Goan Fish Curry - deboned white meat fish with masala sauce of cumin seeds, turmeric, garlic flakes, Kashmiri red chilies, grated coconut, coriander seeds, finely sliced onions and slices bell peppers; Paneer Makhanwala - cottage cheese cubes in buttery, creamy and tangy sweet sauce of cashew paste, tomato puree, ginger, bay leaf, Kashmiri Mirch powder, butter, green chili; and more rich Indian gourmet creations.
